My name is Fiona Gooch

I started making handcrafted Dichroic Fused glass jewellery in 2006. Initially, I had a small kiln that my husband bought me, and I could make a few pieces at a time. People liked what I was doing, so I started selling things at local craft fairs.

After a while, I decided I needed a larger kiln, so I bought one. Around about the same time local schools started to approach me to start teaching adults how to make jewellery. So I have been teaching locally in various schools for quite some years now.

Things started to really take off, so I needed an even bigger kiln. I now have my new pride and joy in my studio. It enables me to use some of the jewellery techniques on different product types like pictures, bowls and plates. I am really excited about these new product lines.
